I See Me in You

Written in loving memory of Sat Santokh Singh — a crusader, leader, and spiritual teacher who stood courageously with compassion and love.

He often said to me, “When I look at you, I see myself when I was younger.”

I See Me in You

I never claim to be perfect

I never claim to be true

I’m just here to live

Me within you

The one thing I know

that came from the True Guru

is why I am here

talking with you

That is why I am

If I can live in that state

so can you

That’s the way

I’ve come to be true

Writing is just a medium

like sitting and listening

walking and talking

So I see me in you

And that is

Wahe Guru
